The Joint Security Task Team investigating the tragic murder of Tumwebaze Pamela, the Director of Students Affairs at Uganda Christian University (UCU), has successfully arrested one of the key suspects in connection with the crime.

Arrest Made in Budaka District

On 14th February 2026, security operatives apprehended Taewaiko Dak Hussein at his hideout in Budaka District. According to preliminary reports, the suspect was found in possession of property belonging to the deceased β€” a critical piece of evidence that directly links him to the murder.
